MastermindTalks Inc ("Community Made," "we," "us," or "our") operates communitymade.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us directly. When you purchase a book, join our email list, or opt in to text messages, we may collect:

Your mobile phone number
Your shipping and billing address
Your purchase history
Any information you send us in a reply, form, or survey
Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment processors. We do not store your full credit card number on our systems.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we may collect your IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and pages viewed. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Fulfill and ship your order
Send you the emails and text messages you signed up for
Respond to your questions and provide customer support
Send you updates about the book, related resources, and events

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Privacy
This section applies specifically to our text message programs, including the 30-Day Community Made Challenge.
How we get your consent. We only send text messages to people who have given express written consent by submitting their mobile number through a form on our website or a documented sign-up point, with the consent language clearly displayed. Consent is never a condition of purchase.
What we do with your mobile number. We use your mobile number only to send the messages described in our SMS Terms and Conditions and to respond when you reply.
We do not sell or share your mobile information for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.
Service providers. We share your mobile number with the messaging platform we use to deliver texts (Salesmessage) and with mobile carriers, solely to deliver the messages you asked for. These providers are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.

4. Who We Share Information With
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent they need it to do their job:
Shopify — e-commerce, checkout, and order fulfillment
Kit — email delivery
Salesmessage — text message delivery
Shipping and fulfillment partners — to deliver your order
Payment processors — to process your payment
We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
6. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or subscription is active, or as long as needed to provide services and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. If you unsubscribe from texts or email, we retain a minimal record of your opt-out so we can honour it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We operate from Canada. If you are located outside Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in Canada and the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. By using our website, you consent to this transfer.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on our website.
